Virginia and Charles Lewis
On September 7, 1967 Charles and Virginia Lewis (pictured at the left) became the parents of the subject of this short biography, Daniel Towers Lewis. This event occurred in the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, Germany. Mr. Lewis endured the trials and celebrated the joys of early childhood with his older sister, Esther Charlene. Mr. Lewis began his formal education at the Adolf-Reichwein-Schule, a German public school. During Mr. Lewis' 4th grade year, his family moved from Germany to Lebanon, Pennsylvania. From the 4th through 11th grade he attended Lebanon Christian Academy. The summer before Mr. Lewis' senior year of high school, his family moved to Perkasie, Pennsylvania . Daniel graduated from Faith Christian Academy of Selersville, Pennsylvania.

After high school, Mr. Lewis completed his Bachelor of Science degree, in General Science, at Tennessee Temple University . Mr. Lewis soon began working at in the the Tennessee Aquarium . While holding this position, he completed some undergraduate courses in geology at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. Mr. Lewis also worked driving a 1924 Pearly Thomas trolley at the Chattanooga Choo Choo.

Mr. Lewis is a graduate from the Teacher Preparation Academy at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where he completed his Master in Education with initial licensure in secondary earth science. Currently Mr. Lewis is an eighth grade science teacher at Franklin Middle School in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
