Conclusions . . . Did You Know? . . . God made all things in one week, including the dinosaurs. Marine reptiles and reptilian flyers date from Day Five of the Creation Week. Land-dwelling dinosaurs date from Day Six. All dinosaurs and other animals were originally tame. Most dinosaurs ate only plants. A small minority eventually became fierce meat eaters. Dinosaurs and people lived at the same time. All dinosaurs were born small, and most never got large. Dinosaurs were on the Ark with Noah. Climate changes wrought by the Flood gradually killed off most of the dinosaurs. Some dinosaurs survive in remote places today. God has always had power over His creation, even the biggest dinosaurs. God is always in control, even when we think otherwise. God provided for all His creatures, including the dinosaurs, on the Ark during the Flood. God is able to provide for us. The ultimate cause of dinosaur extinction is degradation in the creation wrought by man's sin. Sin always has physical consequences. Sin causes physical death. God allows us to see the death and extinction wrought by the sin of Adam and Eve, to remind us that we should not add to their sin.
