WHAT HAPPENED TO THE DINOSAURS? Chapter 2

PEOPLE IN THE DAYS OF THE DINOSAURS

What were people doing during the days of the dinosaurs? Of course evolutionary philosophy teaches that man did not evolve until millions of years after the dinosaurs died out, but there is genuine fossil evidence that intelligent people have always lived on earth.

For example, fossil human footprints have been found in rocks -- rocks claimed by evolutionism to be so old that they should contain no human artifacts. If evolution were true, these rocks should predate the evolution of man, yet they contain remnants of things made by intelligent man. Artifacts such as fossil shoeprints have also been found (see Note 4). The Bible states in Genesis 1:26-27 that God made man in His image. This means that man was intelligent from the very beginning. People living before the Flood thousands of years ago were therefore fully human. Man has co-existed with the dinosaurs and other kinds of ancient life, but man has never been primitive.

The Bible states that God made all things in one week. This means that all life has co-existed since the Creation Week. Perhaps not all life has lived in the same backyard (any more than people and tigers share the same space today), but at least all life has lived in the same world. According to evolutionary philosophy, life has gone through successive stages with primitive forms of life being replaced by more complex forms of life as evolution has proceeded. But if the Bible is true, and if the creation of co-existing life forms occurred in one week, then there is no surprise whatever in finding fossil footprints and shoeprints in rocks that evolution claims predate mankind.

There are other artifacts that have been unearthed in fossil-bearing rocks and deposits indicating that ancient man was intelligent, even in the days when dinosaurs lived. The Nampa image, for example, is a small statuette about an inch and a half tall, found in Idaho in 1889. It was found three hundred feet deep while drilling for water. It was located under an unbroken Tertiary lava sheet that evolution claims is very ancient (see Note 5). Clearly the Nampa image is manmade, but it should not have been found where it was, unless man has always co-existed with other life during all of history.

We conclude that there were intelligent human beings who were fully capable of making artifacts like the Nampa image in the earliest historical epochs. The idea that dinosaurs evolved millions of years before man, and that the earliest human beings were primitive, is simply not supported by artifacts like this.

There are other examples of human ingenuity in the most ancient times. In 1937 a ceramic spoon was found in coal that was supposedly as old as the dinosaurs and supposedly predated human evolution by millions of years. But actually this is another relic used by intelligent man during the days of the dinosaurs.
