WHY DO BAD THINGS HAPPEN? Chapter 5

Conclusions . . . Did You Know? . . .

God made the creation to be totally perfect for all life.

The creation today is not perfect like God made it. Decay and death in the creation began with the sin of Adam and Eve.

God does not create death and destruction.

Sin brought both spiritual and physical decay and death.

Death and destruction permeate the entire universe.

Storms, illness, predation, extinction, and any other death-producing thing were not originally part of life.

Many of the things we observe in science today would not be here if the world were sinless.

Science studies a corrupted, damaged world.

This tragic condition is temporary. Christ will one day purge sin and death from His creation.
