January 7, 2004: Danile Lewis launched his campaign web site. January 8, 2004: Daniel Lewis picked up qualifying papers at the Hamilton County Election Commission. March 2, 2004: Daniel Lewis officially qualified as the Libertarian candidate for Tennessee House District 26. April 5, 2004: The Libertarian Party of Tennessee officially nominated Daniel Lewis as their candidate for state house district 26. April 11, 2004: Libertarian Daniel Lewis to attend local Tax Day event May 28 – 30, 2004: Daniel Lewis served as a delegate from Tennessee to the 2004 Libertarian National Presidential Nominating Convention in Atlanta Georgia. July 8, 2004: Daniel Lewis joined other Hamilton County Libertarians at the Hamilton County Courthouse to support improved education in Hamilton County through privatization and without increased taxes.
